Washingtonian Magazine Highlights Health & Well-Being at Local Erickson Senior Living Communities

Washingtonian Magazine is the DC region’s premier lifestyle publication and leading source of information for dining, shopping, entertainment and more. 

Its April 2024 edition included “Retirement Communities in the DC Area That Are Not for Retiring Types”, a feature on health and well-being programming at senior living communities in the area—including five Erickson Senior Living communities: Ashby Ponds in Ashburn, Greenspring in Springfield, Woodleigh Chase in Fairfax, Riderwood in Silver Spring, and The Grandview, coming soon to Bethesda. 

In the article, Ashby Ponds residents Jack and Lynn Muety share their experience enjoying all the well-being amenities available, including the fitness center, yoga, bocce, and walking trails. 

“The Muetys also appreciate the social aspect of their community,” the article states. “‘They say interacting with other people on a regular basis is good for your health,’ Jack says.”
